These testimonials on healing describe the experiences of people who have sought a spiritual laying on of hands type of healing. Some sought relief from chronic pain and found it in the forgiveness and calm that derives from these experiences.
The particular experiences of the people we serve are unique, but there are many similarities as you will see from some of the following testimonials.
A woman with end-stage liver cancer, who has been coming to us for two years and has long outlived her life expectancy, has this to say when asked if she had benefited emotionally: “Most emphatically. I am so grateful for the healing experience I received during my Pilgrimage session. I felt the energy flowing through my body and relaxing every cell. I had been having headaches almost daily and I have not had any headaches since my healing session. Although that is a wonderful and welcome relief, it isn’t the most impactful thing that has happened to me since the session.
When I went into the session I held my son in my heart in hope that some of my healing would also heal him in some way. Since the session there has been movement in my son’s healing path. I did not share my experience with him in detail. I know that Spirit is with my son as I can see him act differently.
The biggest difference for myself is that I have felt my energy causing me to slow down. I know that may sound odd, but it is what my body needed. I have spent a lot of time alone and in silence since my session. I felt unmotivated to be busy and productive all the time. I was puzzled by the change and worried that something was “wrong” with me. Then I saw a post by a Facebook friend that said this:
I immediately knew that is what I had been experiencing.
My body feels safe for the first time in many years. Finally!
I plan to attend a healing training that is coming soon because I want to share this experience with others.

I received my first energy healing session today. She was very graceful in her approach & practice. She explained all of her beliefs of her practice and exactly what she would be doing during her healing session with me. She kindly asked for my permission to not only do energy healing but to lay hands on my body during the session.
In doing so she explained in detail exactly where she would place her hands. She told me how at times she would touch in certain motions, her intention, the purpose and meaning behind each motion.
The healer then asked if I was still ok with her performing the practice, at which I was very excited and gave her permission. I have had many healing sessions from amazing practitioners and healers throughout my journey of healing mind, body and spirit.
Before my session I explained exactly where my current pain was. During my session I immediately began to feel warming sensations and slight pain in my lower area between my hips where my uterus is. Before the session my pain all over was about a 5/10. This pain in my uterus would become lessened then intensify again with extreme amounts of warmth. It was tolerable but increased to the threshold of 10/10 pain then lessened just in time to allow my body to recover before happening again.
I immediately remembered that last year almost to the exact day I had my biannual pap smear resulting in having HPV with high levels of precancerous cells. I have had negative results since I was 17 years old when I was pregnant with my first child. After I delivered my child my test results were always negative until last year at 37 years old. I am due for my yearly pap smear this month.
Along with this pain, I felt the muscles in my neck, shoulders, back, abdomen, hips and thighs (all associated with my severe chronic pain in all the areas mentioned above) begin to sporadically and randomly twitch then immediately stopping and calming came over these areas.
The worst areas of my pain went from a 5/10 pain to a 3/10 pain. I have worked very hard through energy healing, massage, yoga, deep stretching, acupuncture, crystal light therapy and chiropractic work to relieve my chronic pain over the past 2 years from a 10/10 pain to a bearable 5/10 pain.
As the healer completed my session my body felt so much lighter, my mind clearer and my pain stayed at a 3/10. What was truly amazing though is my uterus was still warm and achy. It continues this evening to be warm and has an achy throbbing sensation. She told me that the area is healing and this could continue afterwards.
The healer then “tethered my feet” as I call it. This is to assure I stay fully within my body, as energy healing is a very spiritual practice and I tend to need tethering so I can be fully grounded.
Overall, out of all my uncountable energy healings, this was by far the most enlightening and powerful healing I have ever received.
I look forward to seeing and feeling my progress in mind, body and spirit. I will definitely be receiving more sessions soon. Along with attending her classes for being trained in energy healing.
I will follow up with this after I receive my next pap smear as I fully believe in the power of holistic healing. These practices has been my only true source of healing of the past 3 years from the side effects of my physical, emotional, sexual and mental traumas. Also being my outlet with finding healing ways to subside my symptoms of my many medical auto immune diagnosis.
I would highly recommend and refer anyone to Pilgrimage, as it has years of wisdom, practice and knowledge that everyone should be able to encounter, experience and gain their own knowledge from.
